ISSUE 4: KEEP MUKILTEO BEAUTIFUL - NO UPZONING

Upzoning means toward higher density which is opposed to the interests of Mukilteo. Developers have applied to build hundreds of high density housing units on the tech center property on Harbour Heights Parkway (currently occupied by Boeing). I say NO to ANY upzoning. The people of Mukilteo would prefer single family zoning. This facility is currently zoned BP Business Park and permits a community college or technical college without a zoning change. A college would be a great use for the building and no demolition and reconstruction would be required. That is a use we should encourage.

Note the brown areas on the map. Those are MR zoning, 22 dwelling units per acre. There is also high density in PCB/MR/PB. I prefer to main single family RD zoning.
